Starting a new year with music, pancakes, and positive energy sounds way better than the usual rushed celebrations people barely remember the next morning. A few friends and I actually planned a small holiday road trip around cozy family spots after spending time on tripadvisor customer support and collecting ideas for places with that same warm atmosphere. The trip ended up feeling more personal than any expensive vacation, and now we repeat the tradition every January.
